Luka Doncic had 33 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, Tim Hardaway Jr. added 27 points and the Dallas Mavericks beat 125–107 the short-handed New Orlean Pelicans on Thursday night.

Kristraps Porzingis shot 7 of 14 after missing 10 of 11 games (three of which were due to his injury: sprained right ankle), finished the game with 19 points. He is finally back and as he stated he feels good to be on the court:

“I felt good right away,” Porzingis said. “I’ve been kind of staying active with the basketball stuff and shooting as much as I can and making sure I’m visualizing being out there and playing. Tonight was pretty good.”

The Pelicans got eliminated by the postseason contention while playing without four of their starters: Lonzo Ball was scratched with a strained right thumb, joining Zion Williamson (broken left hand), Brandon Ingram (sprained left ankle) and Steven Adams (sprained toe) on the sideline.

Eric Bledsoe and Jaxson Hayes scored 15 points apiece for the Pelicans, while Nickeil Alexander Walker and Kira Lewis Jr. had 13 points each.
