For which team is free agent Christian Wood considered as a top target?

Detroit Pistons big man Christian Wood remains a free agent target for the New York Knicks, according to Ian Begley of SNY.

Wood becomes an unrestricted free agent once the 2020 free agency period begins. Free agency is supposed to start a few days after the 2020 draft.

One of the teams which keep an eye on the 25-year old player is the New York Knicks, who consider him as a top target this offseason. Knicks are known to sign players with bad contracts but not this time. Wood is about to hit the market and multiple suitors should confabulate with him and try to allure him to join their team. Should teams from the Western Conference go after Wood?

Wood played in 62 games for the Detroit Pistons in 2019-20. He averaged 13.1 points and 6.3 rebounds while shooting 56.7 percent from the field, 38.6 percent from beyond the arc and 74.4 percent from the free throw line.
