Nuggets’ SF Will Barton says the result would be different if he was healthy in the bubble
The Denver Nuggets took a trip to the Western Conference Finals last postseason and faced the Los Angeles Lakers in a promising battle that endured five games.
Nuggets starter Will Barton was dealing with the knee soreness and was kept out the entire time in the bubble. However, he said recently that he is back and ready for the new season that will commence on December 22nd.
“I feel real good.” Said he can run, plant, jump. He thanked the Nuggets for understanding why he needed to leave the Bubble.
Will Barton on his hunger level: “To win a championship.” He said if he was healthy he felt the Nuggets could’ve gone even further than the Western Conference Finals. “Championship.”
“I’m a starter in this league. I’ve proven that year in and year out.” “I think it’s clear cut who I am in this league. I’m a starter.”
The 29-year old shooting forward has spent six seasons as a member of the squad and during the season 2019–20, he participated in 58 games, started in all of them and averaged 15.1 points, career-high 6.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.1 steals per game. He was also shooting 45% from the field, 37.5% from the perimeter and 76.7% from the free-throw line.
